TuraRide is a digital transportation service that connects passengers (“Users”) with verified drivers (“Drivers”) for convenient, affordable, and safe rides. TuraRide acts as a technology platform and does not directly own, operate, or control vehicles or drivers unless stated otherwise.
To use the TuraRide Platform, you must:
Be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
Have full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
Provide accurate, up-to-date, and verifiable personal information during registration.
Comply with all applicable laws, traffic regulations, and platform rules.
Users must create an account to access certain features of TuraRide.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
TuraRide reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account suspected of fraudulent activity or violation of these Terms.
The TuraRide Platform may only be used for lawful transportation purposes.
Users shall not misuse, copy, modify, or exploit any content or data on the Platform.
Drivers must comply with all licensing, insurance, and vehicle requirements set by law.
Passengers must treat drivers and vehicles respectfully and avoid any form of damage, harassment, or unlawful conduct.
A ride request is confirmed once a driver accepts the booking.
Passengers must be ready at the pickup point at the specified time.
Cancellation policies may vary depending on timing and local regulations.
Repeated last-minute cancellations or failure to show up may result in penalties or account suspension.
Ride fares are calculated based on distance, time, and other applicable factors such as surge pricing.
Payments can be made through approved in-app payment methods or cash (where permitted).
TuraRide reserves the right to adjust or modify pricing at any time.
Drivers will receive payment after completion of rides, minus any applicable service fees.
Users are encouraged to rate and review each ride experience.
Ratings help maintain service quality and driver accountability.
TuraRide reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts with consistently poor ratings or misconduct reports.
Your privacy is important to us. TuraRide collects and processes personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we handle data, including location information, payment details, and communication records.
By using TuraRide, you consent to our data collection and usage practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
Users must not:
Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity.
Use the platform to cause harm, harassment, or discrimination.
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the platform’s systems.
Share misleading or false information related to the service.
Violation of any of these may result in immediate suspension or permanent account termination.
TuraRide provides its services “as is” and makes no warranties or guarantees regarding availability, safety, or reliability of rides.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TuraRide shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of income, data, or reputation arising from use or inability to use the service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TuraRide, its affiliates, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or legal actions resulting from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
TuraRide reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
Updated versions will be posted on our website or mobile app, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
TuraRide may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Platform if:
You breach any part of these Terms.
You engage in fraudulent or unsafe activities.
Required by law or regulatory authorities.
In case of any disputes arising from the use of TuraRide, both parties agree to attempt resolution through amicable negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to arbitration or the appropriate local court as governed by applicable law.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
